WHAT DOES KOVA DO?
KOVA provides creative solutions for positioning projects within the luxury space. Our work spans cinematic film, still imagery, brand development, digital experiences, and advanced AI-driven systems designed to communicate what places and brands feel like, not just how they look.
DOES KOVA WORK ON A LONG-TERM BASIS AND WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN A PROJECT?
KOVA prefers long-term collaborations where we can evolve alongside a project over time. In many cases, we act as creative directors, helping define and guide the visual language and positioning from a broader perspective. From there, we either oversee or directly execute the work, including cinematic filmmaking, still imagery, aerial and drone footage, and underwater photography and video. This flexible approach allows us to support projects consistently, whether through direction, execution, or both.
IS KOVA A PHOTOGRAPHY OR VIDEOGRAPHY STUDIO?
Photography and film are part of what we do, but not the full scope. KOVA operates as a studio that integrates visual production with creative direction, brand development, and digital strategy to support long-term positioning rather than one-off deliverables.
WHAT TYPE OF PROJECTS DOES KOVA WORK WITH?
We work with high-end real estate, private villas for sale or rent, boutique hotel properties, branded residences, resorts, and luxury lifestyle brands. Each project is approached through the lens of place, experience, and identity.
WHERE IS KOVA BASED AND WHAT REGIONS DO YOU FOCUS ON?
KOVA is based in Punta Mita, Mexico. Our work is primarily focused on the Pacific coast, including Punta Mita, Riviera Nayarit, Mandarina, Costalegre, and the Careyes area. Our longest and deepest experience is in Punta Mita, where we have worked continuously for over twenty years.
WHY DOES KOVA HAVE SUCH A STRONG PRESENCE ALONG MEXICO’S PACIFIC COAST?
KOVA’s work along the Mexican Pacific is the result of long-term involvement in the region. Over the years, our studio has been consistently engaged with many of the projects and destinations that have shaped Punta Mita and its surrounding areas, developing a deep familiarity with how luxury has evolved there and how it is best expressed visually.
DOES KOVA WORK WITH LUXURY HOSPITALITY AND TRAVEL BRANDS?
Yes. KOVA has collaborated on projects for internationally recognized luxury hospitality and travel brands. This experience informs how we understand luxury from the inside and how it should be communicated visually with clarity and restraint.
